I noticed that the new app has a few more buttons if you use the GPS in the Uber App. One will rotate the screen so forward is always up instead of North always up. This is kind of nice. But I have also noticed that it does not account for traffic much... so far. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am deathly scared of deviating from the suggested route on the Uber GPS. I’m afraid of messing up the upfront pricing. I’m afraid the customer will see different routes than what they’re seeing in their Uber app.
Someone else mentioned that they are struggling to calculate the tolls in the new mapping system. Many drivers are betting dinged with not being automatically reimbursed. I thought I’d point that out.
