  I was just hanging out at Industry Kitchen by Wall Street, and I saw people going back and forth the whole time over Eat River. I basically drank with my colleagues to wait out the traffic but heli would have been nice.

  I’d hate to say it but it’s a poor career choice. 

  I’m not trying to be an ass. I don’t think people should do this job because they’re treated unfairly and put into these awful circumstances. Pure and simple. 

  I get it that some people don’t have the choice...but I don’t think I buy that for most people who make that excuse.

  Your ratings don't matter that much for passengers. You still are presented to the closest driver. That's a myth that you won't get rides if your ratings are low.  Plenty of drivers are out there. 

  They will always be happy to take your money.

  Just the fact that you ask this and knowing that there are drivers who do not understand being in the service industry at all.

  These are your customers.  These are the rides they paid for.  They aren't yours. They bought time and space from you. You are not doing them a favor.  You are providing them a service that they paid for.

  Until you get that through your thick head, you really shouldn't be in this industry.
