I keep my volume really low. It feels awkward to drive someone around in pure silence. If they ask or there is an obvious reason I turn the music off though. I do have some passengers who ask me to turn the volume up. I stick to 60s, 80s, and later at night, I might go with 90s. If I have been hearing a lot of cursing or sexual references in the songs I chose a different station. I have Sirius XM so I do have quite a few options for music. I have it for myself, but I also use it for driving.
I would imagine music services like Sirius and Spotify are popular among drivers. I mean you get your worth out of it for all the hours you drive.
Plus it must be tax deductible.
Im the passenger who will ask for the music to be turned up! I can never stand it when the music is barely audible :)
Don't care. whatever the passenger says. Most of the time, they don't say anything, so i listen to my own thing. Sightly turned down as i pick up a passenger. Some do ask it to be turned down, say when they are on a call or seem very tired from the day.
