Rideshare Services for the Elderly, and Less Tech-Savvy! (Uber for Seniors)
I just noticed that there is a section on this site that lists "Rideshares for Old People."You've got to … -
Hey drivers. Radio on or radio off?

How do I take an Uber at New York LaGuardia (LGA) Airport?
I heard some funky things about taking rides at LaGuardia? I am arriving with my family in April and I …
No, I was responding to the original poster. Because he mentioned fares to seek for
Ha! True and there’s too many of that
Can we really get away with that? Eventually after enough riders complain, Uber must ding you.
Who knows, maybe all those drivers who complain about getting deactivated are guilty of those tactics.
Is this an Uber-like app that allows me to find the closest bathroom?
Just be human. both sides. End of story.
Perhaps you shouldn't be "seeking" for certain types of rides. Just accept what you get.
You are one of those drivers who cancel when you see a trip you don't like aren't you...
because lyft drivers are the most convenient and accessible.
This is the reason I don't watch local news. Too much negativeness. It ruins my day.
Don't government employees get back pay when they return to work? So this is like a free vacation. It's not a bad deal if they can make extra cash as an Uber driver in the meantime. Assuming they have savings and the cash flow holds up
Your friends must be on a horrible scammer list elsewhere. Tell them to stop clicking on weird phishing links
Why don't we add a feature where you can select Blonde vs. Brunette.
Celebrity in London who had her account hijacked.
My point is that tips are for going beyond the expectation and a job well done. In other words, I shouldn't tip for things that are expected of a human being.
Don't get me wrong. I appreciate nice people who smile and greet. However, I do not want to live in a world where I have to pay extra for smiles. Said opposite way, I do not want to pay extra for the driver not being on the phone for being a jerk.
Do you know what I don't tip for?
- "Getting me to the destination in one piece...I mean...how else?"
- "Driver greeting me nicely...like a human being"
- "Driver knew the destination and didn't get lost..."
- "Driver was not speaking on the phone while driving me."
I like these suggestions as well. I like it how it doesn't say commonsense stuff like:
- "Tip when they greet you nicely."
- "Tip more when they get you to the destination."
- "Tip when puts one light backpack in the trunk."
...because I am starting to feel drivers are entitled and expect tips for things that they should be doing already.
Is this some kind of a joke?
Why? Because literally no one uses the feature.
and literally no one will care if they got rid of it.
Actually, no. Think about it. This all would have happened locally where they live, right? This can definitely happen if it were in a suburb where there are only a few driver. The husband was working in their town and she was cheating on him in their town. So why not.
Drivers do know all the secrets, I tell you.
so you are saying you'd rather see Uber drivers as victims.
I feel like I’m missing the context here. Is the original poster complaining about the amount of the tip?
I actually believe this is a bot poster.
