How do I take an Uber at New York LaGuardia (LGA) Airport?
I heard some funky things about taking rides at LaGuardia? I am arriving with my family in April and I …
See, PR and the impression this leaves on people will matter.
Uber got into trouble for this multiple times where the surge kicked in during emergency situations, and people got dinged with 10x. I can't remember the vents, but it was the sign that their system was working; people were asking and there weren't enough drivers out.
It's just bad press.
So, basically everythng.
It's ambiguous at the same time they list a bunch of stuff that ironically confuses the situation. What about pepper sptray? What about forks?
Stupid ones.
Great response. I think they will be on the US shores before the end of 2019. Uber is targetting to IPO before that happens for sure.
Dunno. I don't think that'll be nearly as interesting. It'll have a nice scale for stars from drivers, but passengers? I hear many of them don't even know they are being rated. LOL.
This was a big deal in the past, and it still should be a big deal now. I feel like we stupid customers have athe tendency to forget. We get distracted by something else and we no longer question the funny things happening here.
Lyft is gauging people by doing their version of upfront pricing. They are quoting people prices based not on their pricing model but charging whatever people are willing to pay.

That's more of a data rentention concern, but displaying them to you is not breaking any privacy rules.
With that said, they did make it so the drivers cannot see the exact locations and addresses of where they picked up and dropped off. At least for the more recent rides.
Selfie with the *clean* backseat?
Where's that stat come from? Is that accessible?
No, I'm not doubting you. (Even though that seems super high to me.) I just am very curious and wondering what it's like in other cities.
I'm not sure about ride shares, but driving a taxi has always be ranked as one of the most dangerous jobs...
I have never ever had a female rideshare driver pick me up. I have taken over 200 rides.
Right, not to mention it's on a Toyota Camry, and not on a taxicab.
Honetsly, this is the first time I saw any female Uber driver. I thought it was a myth.
Great story. though I have no idea why that would be self-defense, but I will take it!
Well, there are very occasionally black guys at Trump's rally. So I hear. I don't see them on TV though.
You may get tickets. Well, I guess the passenger can get tickets. I guess you don't care about that.
Can dangerous breeds or pitbull ever be a service dog? Let me rephrase. Are they commonly used as service dogs?
Anything Uber makes the news these days.
