Uber: You can tip your driver, you really shouldn't and we hope you won't.
This pretty much summarizes it. A quote from Josh Mohrer, Uber's New York City general manager. This is what he …
No, to be honest, I didn't even know about it. Wait, did I? I obviously don't care, because I can't even tell you what it is.
DUN DUN DUN!!!
Oooooooh, it's like watching the soap opera. Another character enters the seen!
Wow.
Yeha, why do these mugshots always look so scary. Is that intentinoal by the camerman. I mean, this creepy smile makes him look like a serial killer.
Yeah, but there are legitmate times where you would cancel a ride or just end a ride prematurely. What if I just changed my mind and wanted to get off there instead of the original destination?
Where I am, Uber gets to me much faster. I don't know if there are drivers who live ner me or not, but it gets to me in 5 minutes where I distinctly remember times when cabs took 15~20 minutes to get to me.
I will also point out that Uber cars are consistently cleaner. I hear cab drivers also drive taxis, but it must to do with how people take care of own properties more. I haven't run into a dirty Uber yet.
yeah, let the people be heard!
"Public shaming" and "crowd sourcing" go hand in hand. What a powerful combination, a byproduct of the modern world.
I am not a driver. I was going to say something clever about how this would quickly become unreasonable, and how it shouldn't be a huge expense to retrieve an item as long as one is flexible.
Then I did a little math, and you know what? It does make sense. If I lost my $900 phone, I would pay $25~ to get it back, no problem.
I mean, the intent matters, right? If you were trying to get away and you accidentally run over someone, at least it isn't...murder. LOL. Sorry. I am not helping.
How do you get paid? Per each charge? So to you, this is like a gold mine. LOL.
This woman was a total puppet. She was used as a woman and spat out like any other discriminated women at Uber.
I'd like to believe she as a victim too, but I think she definitely willl leave her mark in history as part of the problem than the solution.
Burning Man.
this guy's smirk. LOL
and a "law" t-shirt.
still waiting for the days they replace it with a joystick.
like in Men in Black.
That's a lot of miles. 48K a year. The dealership must be like, "woah" every time.
"You own a Nissan that's 4 years old and it has 200K?!" LOL.
What else would you call it, Uber Rental Car? That seems a bit long. Makes sense to me.
