Uber commissions capped at 25%, no upfront pricing, exact destination on each trip before accepting a ride, old surge multiplier is back, no AR restrictions etc.

Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
That's my conclusion as well. They certainly do enough of it themselves, putting on a fake surge to attract drivers into the area.
Los Angeles does, San Diego and SF are on flat rate surge (sounds like an oxymoron). They cut our rates to 60/21 in March, flat rate surge on top of that would be a disaster.
Totally blown out of proportion and sensationalized by the media. Uber and Lyft are very much guilty of the same thing themselves.
Yes, a lot of sudden stops and hard breaking but I'm sure that will change over time. Plus they're limited to 25 mph speed.
Oh, don't worry, I know, I write about them for a living.
At the moment only in Chicago and SF, they also have something called Ride Pass in many other cities.
Unfortunately, there will be a long wait. I took a rode in an Aptiv Lyft car, it took me twice as long to go a mile and almost made me sick to my stomach. 😆
https://techcrunch.com/2019/07/22/uber-tests-monthly-subscription-that-combines-eats-rides-bikes-and-scooters/
It's from their IPO S-1 filing, their numbers not mine. It's actually worse according to a CNBC and Walk St. Journal study.
Have they raised the rates on you? Because they cut the driver's pay by 25% in March 2019.
Lyft platform about 3-4 out of 10, UBER platform 1-2 out of 10 max.
This is straight subscription, like the gym subscription you'll never use. 😆
You'll have to wait at least a decade or more for that. It's a pipe dream, a sales plot.
What they're doing reminds me of old taxis. After all what's U/L taxis with an app. That crap won't work at LAX, it's a disaster as it is. Another Fuber experiment.
He's a true IC, not like us, modern day digital slaves
I can only do once, 😆
Good question, great question.
Up to 10% on car rides only with a max dollar amount attached such as it will say 10% but will cap the discount to $4 per ride.
Look at my screenshots below under Uberserge, I posted them for someone else who had asked. In in this thread, so you don’t have to go far.
Yeah, good idea, MoviePass didn’t last too long.
