Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
Driving test? 😆 with U/L if your breath shows up on the mirror, you're good to go
I agree, taxis just can't catch a break. They used to pick up at arrivals now they're lumped in with U/L drivers. It will be a terrible cluster****
Let's start with tougher background checks instead of blow on the mirror test.
That exactly was their problem. You're also on point by diagnosing UBER'S unwillingness to empower the driver, they are control freaks. All this flexibility and freedom BS they sell is garbage. What IC will show up in front of your house without knowing what the job and pay is, I guess they found enough suckers.
There was Sidecar before U/L, it was set up the way you suggested but didn't have the funding, when U/L showed up they got crushed.
Never, cash rides are not allowed and also frowned upon. Rideshare drivers can’t nor should do cash rides. It seems like a new trick deployed by certain drivers. Refuse and exit the car.
Uber doesn't like the idea of the new pickup location

Same argument was made by another Uber lawyer, this is the excerpt of that conversation
Bad for the passengers, two stop to get on their Uber, bad for the driver, two stops to pick up a pax, good for upstairs cluster**** to the tune of 15%, nothing more or less. LAX will not be good until all construction done in 2024
Rideshare has definitely caused added congestion but the fact that LAX has become the second busiest commercial airport in the US has a lot more to do with it.
https://therideshareguy.com/major-changes-for-uber-lyft-at-los-angeles-international-airport/
There's no public transportation in Los Angeles, it's due to increased volume of travelers. 240 thousand people go through LAX daily and the airport isn't built for that. Here's the article I wrote for another blog.
https://therideshareguy.com/major-changes-for-uber-lyft-at-los-angeles-international-airport/
I think it's a good idea to put your rideshare driving experience depending on the job you're applying for.
1 in 10 who likes UberPro. Your analogy of waiting tables and driving Uber, I lough. Keep drinking the Uber Koolaid. Enjoy the next cut, you have to be a newbie, you don't have a point of reference of how bad things are compared to even couple of years ago.
Check it out, it's probably the best app for rebates now
1 more year, I'll be that nutcase, 😆
They call themselves a technology company, nothimg but a cab company with an app. Did you try Lyft? Do you have the same problem?
Useless
In the pax app only, sorry
You pinned me correctly but I've been testing Freebird, quite successfully I might add, look into it.
You're already a step ahead 😆
