Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
Yeah, half the x cars are in the list
I agree, it's chasing the ever moving carrot. Typical UBER, the most lucrative part of 6% pay hike was canned in less than 6 weeks, left the program with garbage
No he doesn't need cash for that, he just got funded by the Saudis to the tune of 400 million at a valuation of 5 billion
That was what moral bankruptcy looks like in real time, #deleteuber
Before, you're average is a dollar because you're adding time to your gross, in Los Angeles, we're at 60/21. Ridicoulues rates!
That's been going on forever, it's up to the algorithm to take airport privileges away. Happens in clusters, not sure picking up at airports is as lucrative as people think these days anyway.
No appeal process, but you can try to go to your local hub and explain your situation to ha human instead of dealing with multiple e-mails.
When you arrive and are done picking up your bag, order your UBER or Lyft, check both apps since one may be cheaper than the other at that moment, don't forget to tip your driver
Probably not as risky as rideshare driving, I bet they make more per hour than a U/L driver but knowing UBER, probably not
Sorry, I just attached it, thanks for the heads up
I agree with you, rideshare driving is like a box of chocolates, you'll never know what you're goung to get 😆

I drive in Los Angeles, it is carmageddon
I just did a pickup, Sunday is the busiest day, 60 minute wait times will be the average. If the drover knows what they're doing, they can create unlimited DF out of the lot
Download the Uber and Lyft app on your phone, turn it on, you'll knkw if there's service in your area
Sorry to hear that, hope you're fine. If you don't have rideshare separate insurance, your insurance company may not cover the accident. Uber and Lyft have certain thresholds for deactivating drivers for what's in their DMV report which is part of the background check.
When uber and lyft started picking up at LAX in 2015, the agreement was made for pick-ups to be only at departures to protect the cabs since they were allowed to pick-up downstairs at arrivals. However, no one anticipated the growth of rideshare as well as commercial traffic to exponentially grow. LAX is the second busiest airport in the country.
I think dropping off at departures and pickup at arrivals would be a natural extension but there's so much construction going on that it wouldn't have solved any of the congestion rideshare cars created. I think they totally underestimated the numbers for Uber and Lyft, they should have picked a much larger space for it. 700-800 requests per hour on U/L the new lot holds 90 cars for all combined, math is fuzzy.
Day 2 at carmageddon at LAX, same if not worse, I wonder how Friday, Sunday and Monday will be? Poor passengers and drivers!
Not so, it used to be that they follow each other but since their IPO, they're separated.
