Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
Where are my royalties? 😆
😆😂😂
This is new, they get to charge the pet owners more this way
Yep, if drivers and pax are that gullible, they don't belong on any platform
Should be, Lyft scheduled rides work better though
You'll be fine with an Uber X, hopefully you'll run into a nice driver who will assist you with the walkers. You can always order an Uber Assist car, the drivers know how to handle walkers and wheelchairs
L.A. people are different. 😆
There's a shut up and drive mode on the app.
No, nothing like the story headline.
They weren't banned at all, at LAX we have two levels, lower level for arrivals, upper level for departures. All U/L was upstairs, at the departures level, drop offs and pickups. It created an absolute mess, sometimes, going around the loop took over half an hour. Now they created a separate parking lot, as well as shuttles to pick the passengers up at arrivals and bring them to the matched drivers waiting. It'll be inconvenient, especially for people with a lot of luggage, they have to baord the shuttle with all the heavy luggage, then unload and load them again to their waiting car. We'll see how it goes. 😆
I live in Los Angeles, doing an article now.
Depending on what city you’re in, it’ll be Uber and Lyft. If you’re car is not new, that’s the best option. Don’t expect much in terms of dollars per hour. DoorDash, instakart are other options but U/L will be the quickest for approval barring something negative in your background check. Good luck!
Another unicorn that'll never be profitable
That's like UberPool in the sky, still from start to finish not a quicker way to travel than a cab
Be safe, order XL
I've been short Lyft since 74, I covered today and went long at 38.28
Not if you're short the stocks 😆
Then, be a real cab, 😆
If you have a 20 dollar base ride and there's 2x surge in it, it would be a 40 dollar ride for the pax. You'll get the penny surge of 3.50 most likely. Do you have any idea how UBER charges the passenger?
when you drop off or pick up at large malls or colleges, its best to ask the passenger where they exactly are since the pin they drop may not be at the exact location they are at
That is true but picking up sick people during your shift is up to luck, picking up at hospitals or doctors offices guarantees you're picking up sick people.
