No you can't unless it's an Uber or Lyft gift card. You have to use a valid credit or debit card
Suggest downloading both apps as one may be cheaper than the other on the way to and from the concert. Enjoy the ride!
Those two are in the lead as far as roadside assistance, there are some others but not as efficient as those two.

Uber and Lyft will be disrupted soon. Why do you think they haven't been done so yet? It's because barriers to entry is very expensive, it's not a technology challenge, a new driver friendly company can get all the drivers they need in a week but the marketing costs of acquiring riders is the hurdle. Tryp is nothing but an MLM scam, if you gave them your money, good luck!
Sure hope you're not talking about TRYP that's a scam
I sure hope you're not talking about TRYP it's a waste of time and your money
He's delusional? And that's from 2017, let's move on
BI is the number 1 PR machine, they've been doing articles on this guy for over a month now. Cheap UBER pax don't tip, that's the bottom line
Sorry to hear that. I had the same situation a couple of months ago where I was temporarily deactivated because of a passenger complaint. However, I was back online after 72 hours. I agree with you that both UBER and Lyft are like the LAPD, shoot first ask questions later and that's not a given.
So whoever thinks that Lyft is the driver friendly company needs to stop drinking Koolaid and get a dash cam, that's the only real protection a driver has.
Good point, they’re going back to their roots, what’s Uber and Lyft? Cabs with an app!
When it comes to coding, it is
Lyft refused to give the cops the name of the driver and kept him on the platform for two weeks after the incident
https://nypost.com/2018/11/07/lyft-wont-give-cops-name-of-driver-accused-of-masturbating-during-ride-with-teen/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
They get approved because the background checks are horribly inadequate. But to be fair, this animal would have escaped the scrutiny. More importantly, why aren't they stopping this at their app level. There's also no level of scrutiny for passenger signups, jist a debit or credit card will get you on the platform.
The travesty is that Lyft didn't share this drivers information with the police and allowed him to keep driving for two weeks after the incident.
They're about to hire 3000 employees in Dallas for their new massive hub. All these layoffs are window dressing for Wall Street since they're being pushed to be profitable first time ever. Not going to happen!
Great question, Fair may allow your spouse to drive the car if you add her on the insurance policy. Ask their CSR before she drives. She obviously won't be allowed to drive for Uber. But as an Uber driver, you have unlimited miles, driving for Uber or personal use. Mind you with Fair you can only drive for Uber, with a Hertz rental, you can only drive for Lyft and their mileage rates are much lower than if you owned your car. Fair is definitely the better deal especially if you will do 90-120 rides a week.
You've got to be the best pax ever, will give you a ride any time. 😆
Earnings reports are at your fingertips if you Google it
Why does it look bad? They created 50 billion dollars of wealth out of thin air, they haven't made a red cent since their inception and they may never be profitable since their business model depends on heavy subsidies.
As far as driver incentives are concerned, I've been driving for over three years, everything as far as miles, minutes, quests, boost, power zones, prime time and surge multiplier has been eliminated. If you think things are going to get better, trend is not your friend.
That loss was what we call it a kitchen sink quarter, they took all IPO related expenses, plus that report is from two months ago, next quarterly results are coming up in a month. I'll write a post for Rideguru then.
