Here is what you need to pass!

- A/C and heat: Must be present and functioning
- Wipers: Functioning and in good condition
- Lights: All must function. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights
- Horn: Must function
- Seat belts: All must be present and functional
- Seats: Front seats must move forward and backward
- Body: Free of major damage or dents

Pretty incredible this guy drove himself to the hospital.
No, there is not a way to see what individual riders rates you. BTW WELCOME!
I bet this happens a fair amount, at least based on the amount of flirtatious passengers I see in pool.
This has happened to me before and usually it works after a few hours/the next day. Did it work eventually for you?
Exactly. People get in the car and just talk, it is crazy what they will say to eachother all while knowing I am listening
Great advice! Thanks. This is when all those college kids are home and have high school reunions! Have you also driven on NYE? Do you feel like thanksgiving eve is really better?
What is the new program?
wow, ridiculous.I would absolutely flip.
Ya but how much are they paid? I bet a fair amount as the job is probably deemed risky
lol, that along with cars is literally the most important thing it should be spotting.
Do you have the video?
I feel like I never see resolutions from any of these law suits. What happens to them?
You sort of covered it but I would def say that Lyft passengers are friendlier
As long as your smart about who you pick up you should be fine. Don't go to dodgy areas and if you arrive and the person/group seems off just cancel!
so sorry to hear this, accidents are the worse. To my knowledge Uber won't deactivate you for an accident especially since it wasn't your fault. I would still report this to insurance and give your full side of the story, your deductible shouldnt go up since it wasn't your fault and the whole thing was so minor.
And yes, I always thought you were supposed to share your info too.
Kaypoli, any updates? Hope things are sorting themselves out for you.
Yes, I also agree with Momof4 here regarding some of her tips on alerting the driver that you will be quiet.
No, personally I find it refreshing when someone is quiet and I can just zone out on the driving. I don't think drivers would rate you down for this at all. Some other things I can think of is bringing drinks/food into the car might bring your rating down? Smell? Not tipping in cash (I would never do this but who knows, some drivers might?). I also think some drivers are just pissy and rate people lower just because.
There is always a risk but if you stay aware you should be just fine. Make sure someone knows you are taking an Uber. Ensure you are getting in the right car by checking the license plate, car make and model, and drivers name. Carry pepperspray or something to protect yourself with. If the drivers seems off, trust your gut and order another car.
I try to avoid rough parts of town and I only driver during the day time. I always make sure someone knows I am driving and I keep them updated. If I have a rider I am uncomfortable with I call my husband, he knows to pick up when I am driving. I don't need to say anything for him to know why I am calling. I know this might be rude for the rider but its my safety!
