Anyone on this forum from Minneapolis? Can you confirm Lyft rate cut to 33 cents a mile?

I dont think most riders will care as their fare isnt increasing but this should be plastered all over the news, social media, internet, etc... Let the public see what these evil companies are doing. I'll say it again most riders will not care as it dont affect them. Just wait until the day it does affect them. The day is coming. Maybe then riders and passengers can finally stand together against these evil companies. It would be awesome for 3 to 5 days near a busy holiday for riders not to request a ride and drivers not to accept a request. It doesnt work well when all riders are still requesting and drivers are on strike because you have drivers (some have no choice i get it) that just dont care and will drive anyway. When we had that strike back in May I worked more hours on the days prior to the strike. I didnt take time off on my usual days the week before that way I had the extra money to strike.

Article about getting pd on way to pick up. With per mile rates being reduced from .60 to .35 in Phoenix. I don't think most passengers would care as their price still stays the same as stated by Lyft. The reality of it Lyft did this so they could make more money on the trip. It is getting to the point where they are going to be getting 75% and drivers will be getting the 25%. Next they will be saying "yes its still a 75/25% split they just wont say its the drivers getting 25%.
