This article talks about cop cars being disguised as Uber vehicles complete with an Uber sticker. Have you ever seen this?

This is so shady.  This isn't a sting. It's some cop making a few bucks on the side. They got caught by the media with their hand in the cookie jar

    I mean, look at this.

"The department hasn't responded to multiple email messages from New Times about the undercover Uber. A spokesperson for Uber declined to comment but confirmed the company had no knowledge of this incident."

I smell a conspiracy. Some police department cover up. I get it that some days suck and are boring, but do your job.

I mean, I know it's tempting. I know it looks like you can do both, but this is wrong and you know it.

I actually  got pulled over by one that had a lyft sticker  in a undercover car in Denver it's a tad bit fishy now that I think about it he didn't pull me over for me driving or car he pulled me over because I had my bf who had warrants. So question  are they allowed to have that on their undercover vehicles while on the clock ?

I had an Uber driver that was a cop before! He was driving his personal vehicle so it was a little more normal but he was telling me all about his day job as a cop. I was slightly intimidated TBH...

No, idea why but both my ride to and from the casino to my place was hosted by claimed "off duty" police. Both rides, the drivers were very friendly, I admit, but without them having reason and wearing badges. I definitely believe that uber and lyft are both being used by police and the threat is real be careful, respect the drivers as you could be in for a surprise.

Since they are getting paid by the hour it would be a relief if they drove all the tightwads

They are picking certain people and doing this with lyft too. I've had it happen. They think we are idiots I guess but most of us are educated. They shoot guns and that is it oh and ruin peoples lives. And write tickets.
