Do you have advice for seniors taking Uber and rideshares?
The Guru Take
Seniors and Ridesharing
Getting in someone's personal car may seem strange to a first time rideshare user, but the best thing to remember is to treat riding in an Uber or rideshare as you would a taxi ride! Just remember, that you are already paying for the ride through the Uber app, so there is no need to hand over money at the end of your ride. It is also important to verify your driver and vehivle at the beginning of your ride by making sure the license plate on the car matches the one on your app.
Many seniors do not use rideshares simply because they do not own a smartphone, Uber and Lyft have been working on a system that would allow people to order an Uber over the telephone. http://phys.org/news/2016-08-lyft-uber-cater-seniors.html

Is this some kind of an oxymoron. I thought older generations wanted to stick with cash-oriented cabs. No, Im not making fun.
