OMG This is just too much. "As he was taken to jail, Beard wore a T-shirt that said, "So when's this 'old enough to know better' supposed to kick in?" "

    What an idiot.

apparently he had a fake Uber sign that he bought online. There really should be some restrictions around Uber/Lyft merchandise that is allowed to be sold.

I mean, I think it's already illegal to sell someone else's trademark. But these sellers just pop up all over the place. Try stopping them.

Ya, but if you put restrictions on uber/lyft selling that merchandise you know a black market will end up popping up with old Uber drivers selling their decals to sketchy people.

that's why it's stupid that this is even a law. Rules like this are costing the time money of innocent people and all it takes for a crook is to pay $1.00 on eBay.

This is exactly what the taxi organizations warned the public about.  No one listened. Dirt low prices and shiny mobile apps.  No one cared about privacy or safety

I never get the importance of these stories. They are clearly trying to give Uber drivers a bad name but this person wasn't even an UBER driver!! I hate the media.
