According to the Verge, Uber is now allowing passengers to rate their drivers mid trip to hopefully increase the amount of feedback they receive.

I hope this means they will allow you to change your rating if you need to.

Why would I do this? I always wait to the end to see if the driver ask me for a tip - you beg for a tip I deduct a star.

We wouldn't have to beg if jerks like you just gave tips!! It is industry standard.

I can see the point. Rating after the trip is completed is a hassle, by that point I'm already moving on to the next thing.

But hopefully you can change it later if you want, as others have said!

Seriously though, why did Uber get rid of allowing pax to change ratings later on?! With this new addition they really should bring that back.

Interesting that a app driver can go back to your five star rating and change to ZERO for not tipping at least 15 percent for acceptable SERVICE.  It will be a cold day in hell before I beg for a tip or a good rating. What kind of person are you to make such a stupid statement ?

This is one of those articles where no one cares.  It must have been a slow uber news day, if there is such a thing.

yeah, this doesn't make sense.  I suppose this may increase the likelihood of people leaving feedback and it's not like people HAVE to do it in the car, but something doesn't feel kosher.

I assume the driver still won't see it until the ride is over and likely that they have left a review for the rider?
