I appreciate and respect the enterpreneurs, but when they use terms like this without any realistic solutions, it makes me wonder.
Frankly, the generic and idealistic approach shows ignorance, and the lack of a real differentiator screams they don't have a plan. If they want people to pay attention, they have to tell us WHY and HOW they will accomplish this lofty goal.
Those two lines you picked out do seem idealistic (cats and dogs living in harmony), they do speak to two biggest complaints about Uber.
So those are pretty strong points in my opinion. I will agree however, but in this Indiegogo pitch, I don't see anything
Sounds a bit harsh, but I hope they can take these as constructive criticism, because if they are wondering why no one is following, this is the reason why. (If they are even reading this.)
I agree with you, Smitten. Tell us on an Indiegogo page they will Uber "better" seems like they have no plans. Everyone wants "better." We need to know why their approach is "different."
There are million people out there who wants a better Uber. Why should we give them our support/money?
It will never happen m. RP is a great salesman, that's about it.
Rubs me the wrong way when they use GOAT. It's presumptuous and obviously taken from Tom Brady's nickname.
Greatest Of All Time (drivers). Agreed not too happy with the name. I started watching the RSP a few months ago. He seemed to be a decent guy so I decided to watch further videos to see how this played out. Havent been watching them recently because they just became boring and the same ole thing. Then I came across this video. I will admit in the beginning I was sort of thought maybe this was an alternative to Uber and Lyft. However I am skeptical now. At first it was supposed to be 80/20% or 75/25% now its 70/30%. There are all different "levels" depending on what you pay them makes you a part of their company & how much you can earn just by signing drivers & riders up. Kind of a slightly different version of TRYP. We all know where that went. Just kind of reminds you of what U & L did. Talk a good game, pay drivers a decent rate until all went to $h!+.
All I can say is I am not giving anyone any money until they are 100% active with apps, riders, and…

All I can say is I am not giving anyone any money until they are 100% active with apps, riders, and positive results. Oh and you cant drive anything older than 2012. I hope it takes it off, they are a better company than Uber & Lyft, and they treat drivers better. Skeptical for now.

It reminded me of TRYP also. If Big players like Lyft cannot be profitable, how would this small company be?
They promise higher payout for drivers but the money has to come from somewhere. That means higher fares which will destroy user adoption. It can also mean business efficiency through streamlining but I’m not sure if these people offer that
I like what other posters are saying too. I feel like these guys can prove themselves a bit if they want any funding.
Agreed. Will give no one any money until I see some proof the apps live and drivers are making money. These guys are not going to dump all their $ into autonomous vehicles, submarines, helicopters, spaceships, etc... Hopefully they wont have multi million dollar lawsuits to pay out. So they may be able to make money. I also dont think RSP is expecting a 43M+ salary and to pay his people extremely large salaries like Uber. I know they can get drivers but its riders they need. I guess we wait and see where it goes.
But Tom Brady sucks, why would they want to be associated with him?
Edit: oops meant to reply to the guy above
