There's now an option to leave a compliment when you give an Uber driver a 5 Star rating! I love this new feature, so nice to be able to recognize the GREAT drivers you have...not just the bad ones with complaints. What do you guys think?

I am sure this is a nice gesture, but most likely is that drivers prefer to make money than receive a bunch of stickers.
I mean...that's what they are in it for. Money.
I believe this is Uber's way of avoiding to provide the tip option. (like lyft)
I didn't realize that only appears when I leave 5-star ratings. I didn't realize how elaborate it has become though. Wait, I don't think I get that screen you have. What gives?
I think it's a great idea. I think.
I think it's super cute. but why not an enhanced way to provide just...feedback? Why single out the compliments? I mean...is it that helpful to just be hearing the good news all the time?
It's another way for Uber to keep up the driver retention. I am a driver, and I know this was the primary reason. At least that's what all the drivers are saying.
I will say, it is nice to receive a nice note from a passenger. Makes me smile, especially those days when you have a not so nice passenger or two
I stopped paying attention to it pretty quick, but yeaj, I agree it's nice.
Lyft one is better. "Areas you can improve" is actually sorta helpful. Someone said, "didn't help me with my bag, even though I needed the help." Another said, "I sometimes don't wanna chat - early morning ride to the airport? That's my sleep time."
Honestly, I welcome these feedback.
Maybe this is the way to differentiate between all the drivers with 4.8~5.0 star ratings?
A part of me wonders if they realized their star-rating is flawed and they had to come up with a new metric.
I love this idea! Positive feedback is always important, though tips are more important :)
