OMG! Uber operator in fatal self-driving vehicle crash was likely streaming 'The Voice'

This guy must feel terrible about himself. A women is dead becuase he couldnt focus on his job which literally just entailed sitting in a car and making sure it did not hit anything. SMH

    He was testing the use case of how people would use an autonmous car.  watching television.  

    The test result: fatal crash.  I hope someone at Uber took that note.

      Reminds me of all those stories where in the early days of cruise controls, people would start reading a magazine or leave the wheel completely (say on an RV), with the false belief that the cars do indeed themselves.  Of course they all ended up in a ditch, or worse wrapped on a telephone pole.

      This is like how Tesla drivers who use the auto drive mode are known to fall asleep.  and no, that isn't a good thing.
