Lyft is on a mission to make booking rides easier for all, including business who are in the healthcare or service sector. Through Lyft's expanded Concierge service, all businesses can easily request and pay for a ride for a client or customer.
Concierge, which was first launched to a handful of healthcare businesses in NYC in 2016, has recently been expanded to alllow all organizations the ability to provide courtesy rides for their customers. Not only will Lyft Concierge enable businesses to schedule rides for other people, it will also give access to real time ride tracking and 24-hour customer support.
Concierge is relatively easy to signup for, users will simply need to create a Lyft Business account and add their payment details. Afterwards, users and their team members can start requesting rides for their staff, customers, etc.
Lyft Concierge was originally intended to help the healthcare industry, specifically retirement homes, who were using the system to organize rides for their patients. Now Lyft Concierge is being used by many sectors including hotel concierges and large and small corporations who host out of town clients.
Uber offers a similar service for businesses, called UberCentral, which also enables businesses to schedule rides and arrange the proper payment for their customers.
