Never had this happen to me, but just curious what you all would do.

I will pull up to a lighted area or a gas station, turn engine off, take the keys, take my cell, get out of the car, call 911 directly. Not the Uber help line and record everything that the pax may be doing. If you can't do any of that, start driving towards the nearest police station.
Stop the car. Call 911(dont use the Uber app like Uber suggest because it doesnt work in every city). They forget to tell you that. Get out, grab keys, phone, and record the incident. Make sure you grab the weapon that you dont carry because its against the TOS. At least once out of the car you can then use that weapon you dont carry if needed. Make sure you get a report from the police or a number of the police report that you can obtain at later date. Cities vary on how you obtain the police report and when/where you can pick it up. Once you get rid of rider contact Uber immediately (be proactive) because you know the rider is going to contact them. Explain what happened, tell them you have video, and you can produce police report. You will probably be deactivated until they investigate. One star them also:)
haha the most important part - the 1 star review!
Why would they refuse to get out of the car. I can't even think of a scenario. Do you mean like when you get into an argument? Oh, like when you cancel the trip due to their behavior?
What I deal is more the drunks passing out in the backseat. I've been told to drive them to the police station but that's eve more distance I need to incur. . I'd rather just push them out of the car onto a curb. I did my job to get them to the destination and they probably won't remember anyway. lol
There is a lot of strange people out there I am sure it happens...
You touch them or push them out and they get hurt, you're liable. With passed out drunks, just drive around the block while you're calling 911, get paid until the fire department or cops show up.
Ummm... call the cops.
