It's more to do with when there is a sudden "surge" of rider requests and the driver supply cannot keep up with it. So, it can happen anytime anywhere...whenever this scenario occurs.
So it can happen at events like sporting events, conventions, etc. not so much to do with the times.
yeah, but it isn't always to do with the supply demand though. or there will always be infinite surge multipliers in rural areas where not many drivers exist. It is a very manual process where regional Uber teams have to define them.
Bar closing times. 1:00~2:00AM on the weekends. hands down
Monday mornings. Friday afternoons. Airports, train stations, etc.
At Boston Logan airport, it even happens where there are large international flights coming in.
I heard about that. With sporting events and such, drivers can anticipate; however, the flights not so much.
RAINY DAYS in the cities. Manhattan and Chicago. Absolutely awful time finding a car.
