Wondering if Uber is available in your location? Need to check if Uber is available where you are traveling?

Uber is a global company. It happened quickly, but Uber is providing passengers with drivers all around the world. Unfortunately, Uber is not everywhere. There are some cities, regions, and even countries that do not have Uber operating. Uber also does not have a definitive resource allowing their customers to see if Uber is in their area. If Uber isn’t in your area, it’s impossible to order a ride or become an Uber driver, so it’s important to figure out where the Uber map boundaries are for your locale.

For example: Los Angeles is a huge market for Uber, but there is no definitive area. Some cities included in the Los Angeles Uber market are not specifically marked, like Burbank or Long Beach. Los Angeles is not the only city this has happened in; the markets can vary drastically from city to city.

San Francisco is Uber’s headquarters, but they are operational on all six habitable continents and in seventy countries. Most large cities in the countries Uber is present have operational Uber drivers, but not always. See below for a list of countries Uber is functional in. One of the easiest ways to see if Uber is functional is by using us RideGuru! All you have to do is enter your location in and see if Uber is available. If it isn’t, you will find other resources to help you get to where you’re going.

Through Uber’s Find A City page, you can see a complete list of cities where Uber operates. You can either scroll to find what you’re looking for, or you can click “ctrl + F” or “Command + F” to search for what you’re looking for. Some cities are included in other cities, so they will not be included in this list. Using Uber’s city page will show you a map of what area Uber covers. All you have to do is enter the URL “uber.com/global/en/cities/city-name”. For example, “uber.com/global/en/cities/houston '' will take you to Houston’s page, so you can see Uber’s boundaries.

You can use RideGuru to see what the cost is for your Uber ride and what options are available to you in your area. Uber is an international company, but not everywhere has the same functions as other cities. It’s important to know what your options are wherever you are, and we are here to help with that.

Here is the list of countries that Uber is operating within. Most of their large metropolitan areas will have Uber available.
