Personal/Rental Car Switching
You can switch back and forth between your own vehicle and rental vehicle through Lyft’s Express Drive Program. Car switching allows you to switch between multiple Lyft-approved vehicles. You can use both cars, though you may be ineligible for Power Driver Bonus and Rental Rewards if you switch between vehicles
Vehicle Pickups & Availability
Demand for rental cars is high, and there are a limited number available through Lyft’s Express Drive Program. Rental vehicles are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To schedule a vehicle pickup, visit your Driver Dashboard
If you tried to schedule a pickup reservation and no cars were available, keep checking back to try again.

Rental Car Payments and Charges
Rental car prices and program details vary by city and rental car provider, so be sure to view those details once you begin the application process.
Rental car payments and associated costs are automatically deducted from your weekly earnings with Lyft. Any weekly rental costs not covered by earnings are charged to your payment method.
