We polled over 300 people to learn how the public views and uses rideshare and taxi services.  Check out the trends we discovered.

Which ride services have you used within the past 6 months?

Based on our survey results, we discovered that although rideshare services dominate the news, taxi services are still widely used.  The majority of riders in our poll used a taxi within the past six months and over a quarter list a taxi as their favorite ride service.

Younger riders seem to be more open to change and tend to use rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, while older riders still tend to rely on taxis.  This trend holds true overall and more recently within the past six months.  Additionally, male riders are more likely to use rideshare services, especially Uber, as compared to female riders, who prefer taxis.
