  I would recommend ordering an Uber for the first few days and once you find a driver you like asking them to pick you up daily! This is how I have always found my regular drivers.

  Sadly, I think this is still somewhat normal. Of course, more people understand now that you can and should tip but Uber really did damage in their early days and many people still have this notion that you are not supposed to tip. I think some, like this grandpa, truly do not know that things have changed but I think others like to feign ignorance just so they feel better about not tipping...

  This doesn't make much sense to me?? Sure Uber and Lyft suck and they screw riders and drivers over but when drivers manipulate the surge in the end I am still paying more for a ride than I should have to - how is it that I am not getting hurt by that?

  Man this is a hard situation. That driver should have never picked up that girl, she is clearly underage but this isn't Uber's fault, it is the drivers. Though I do not believe you can blame this girls suicide on the driver either. Deactivate him from the Uber platform for breaking the minor rule but he didn't lead this girl to her death.

  LOL, this made me crack up. I have never had an Uber car smell that strongly. Maybe you have a really sensitive nose? I do know drivers are rated on the smell of their car (ie: no smoke, rotten food, etc) so many do rely on plugins to mask the smell from carrying passengers all day but it shouldn't be that overpowering. I think your best bet is going to be to open the windows whenever you ride. Hopefully you live somewhere with nice weather?
