If a credit card machine is broken (and I don't have cash), do I have to pay the taxi driver? (or in other words, is it legal for me to walk away?)

Can the driver stay with me if I have a medical appt?

50% of all Uber drivers quit within the first 12 months
Reading this report on Uber driver statistics. There's some good stuff in here, but one thing that stood out? Half … -
How long do drivers have to accept a ride request?
Tony Romo's career was the most unimpressive thing ever. Plus, who the heck cares what he has to say abou these technologies. What a burn out.
The problem is AFTER the pick up. You don't want your Uber getting stuck in traffic.
Wait, are you saying it'd be laced with drugs to knock you out? Oh, jeez, maybe I am too naive.
Need Uber EATS and Uber Express. also uber airplanes and uber jetpacks, and all that other stuff.
Upfront pricing is now a way to mask the surge pricing. Uber's evil plans are progressing. (mwahahaha)
well, sorta depends on how you define roundtrip. if you are going somewhere and immediatley turning back, sure you can do that.
but when do you ever do that? picking up chinese?
Why would the driver want to poison you? That's just weird. Maybe you aren't as special as you may think.
I wish more drivers had the same attitude.
Why only Lyft? Nothing wrong with that. Just curious.
Wow, you are right. People will do horrible things. I bet that'll cost a lot of money to monitor and repair. If someone has to monitor the vehicle at all times, why bother firing the driver? We are just putting the resource elsewhere. and the repairs! That can cost more than $80 a day for sure.
Does poundtaxi still work? I'd try just to satisfy my curiosity but I am afraid to call it. Anyone?
...or cheating husbands?
...or homeless on the streets.
In some cities around the world, Uber accepts cash. I forgot where.
I mediated and imagine I am getting bukus of rides and surges.
I love it how it's a pic of Travis.
I'd like to think so too, but what would they do? What can they do? They can't instruct drivers to work certain times and certain locations. I guess they can try, but what's the incentive for the driver? A forced surge?
Hell's no. no double coupon. why would you even think that'd work.
I heard about that. With sporting events and such, drivers can anticipate; however, the flights not so much.
How can Lyft fire anyone if none of the drivers work for them? They are all independent contractors.
All drivers have Lyft, Uber, and whatever else apps installed. This dude just lost one of his apps.
Haaa haaa haaa. I get it, you troll.

I bet the route is too long. It's over 5 hours. Uber doesn't allow trips that long. Try again.
