Uber’s lawsuit challenging the city’s one-year cap on the number of app-based for-hire vehicles could be headed for a spin out.

I thought the new Green Cabs (boro taxis) covered outside of Manhattan now.

Uber has argued the city’s cap is unfair for New Yorkers outside of Manhattan, where it’s harder to hail a taxi. The company also claimed in the suit that the city did not have any evidence the cap would impact congestion, “the problem the city was ostensibly acting to solve.”

Uber and Lyft full of crap as usual. They feed the main stream media all their lies and these idiots run stories without checking facts. They have managed their PR campaign perfectly. Why do UBER stories outnumber driver stories 10-1?

😆, I am the senior contributor for RSG and Rideguru, I've been pounding U/L for years. I'm still an active driver, I thought I'd be deactivated long time ago. The truth will set you free.

"The company also claimed in the suit that the city did not have any evidence the cap would impact congestion..."

What do you think happens when you put tens of thousands of vehicles on the road?

After a game or concert, the streets are filled with thousands of vehicles and streets get congested.  The same principle applies to rideshare companies.

This issue is the fault of the Moronic Mayor who I am sure took a lot of cash under the table this bastard who makes Uber look like altar boys. Too many cars poses a security risk which may come true in the near future. Yellow , green , livery,  black car,  and limousines . WTF ???
