Can I specify SUV or minivan? Will be riding with 87 yr old mom, easier for her to get in and out, we will also have luggage.
Can I set a future date/time for pickup?
How are additional stops handled? For instance, I need to be picked up first then pick up my mom who lives 7 houses down from me on same street.

Yes, Uber and Lyft offer SUVs. Please look for Uber XL, Uber SUV, Lyft Plus as good options for larger cars.
Uber and Lyft do both accept advanced reservations now. Take a look inside their apps.
Additional steps are allowed on most rideshare services. (For this do NOT use Uber Pool or Lyft Line options.) Simply request the car to arrive at your location, and simply instruct the driver to go pickup your mom. Depending on which house is farther from the destination, this may add additional cost as the trip could theoretically be longer and take more time. For 7 houses, the price difference should be negligible.
