Those who tell me to break rules like speeding.
Oooo, good one. I think every driver has his or her thing, but here are mine:
Some drivers give 3 or 4 stars for all riders - unless you did something above and beyond. I don't really think that's fair, but I guess that just changes the curve a bit.
- Inaccurate pickup location, including locations I can't even get to.
- Being late to pickup location.
- Not responding to texts or phone
- Unfriendly.
Unfriendly? Come on. They don't have to be nice. Just a good passenger.
There is never a reason for being rude. However being friendly/unfriendly is subjective. Some people feel others are unfriendly just because they want some quiet time to themselves... maybe to reflect after a harrowing experience.
Couldn't agree more.
Slamming the door
bad body odor
Not being at the location they say they are
People who complain that there are other passengers even though they ordered Uberpool
Drunken loud people
Short trips
Not tipping for extra services rendered
People who tick me off with their antics and how they have a lot of money but don't leave any tips.
Rude, arrogant riders.
So much anger.
and who talks about having money?
Like a stock broker who just closed a $12M deal and getting a huge commissions. A mount of money it will take me years to make. Then the dude leaves me no tip. Yes, us drivers have a way of knowing if you leave tips or not.
I am not saying they are wrong for making a lot of money. but this whole tipping isn't necessarily about the amount. It's about being sympathetic, being respectful, and appreciating the service you get. If you are dirt poor and could only give me a smile, that's fine. but if you have $20M in the bank and can't spare me a dollar? to someone who just made $3.25 for that trip, potentailly at a loss? I think that lacks basic sympathy and being a good human being.
