I have been driving for Uber for more than a year.

On 26th of October, I had very unexpected which later turned to be very unpleasant experience driving with Uber. It was Saturday evening, and I was in high demand area with high surge. I was getting back to back trips as well.

After completing one of the trip, I noticed it doesn’t show up on my driver dashboard. I stopped my car and called Uber-support, the CSR asked me some details and she was able to track the trip. CSR told me there is nothing to worry, since the trip is completed, it will show up and eventually I will get paid-up for that trip.

But it never happened, neither it showed up on my dashboard and nor I got paid for the trip.

I called Uber support several times (like 11-12 times) and many texts, every time CSR told me there was some technical glitch and engineers are working on it, and every time I got assurance that I will get paid for it but till today I didn’t got paid for that trip. Weird thing is first 3-4 times I called, CSR was able to track the trip, afterwards CSR are even unable to track but every time I got assurances. In fact, it was CSR on my very 1st call to support gave me the exact timing of the trip.

But from October 26th till today, I didn’t got paid for that trip. Although having Diamond Status on Uber Driver, I kind of lost my motivation to drive for any of the ride share platform.

Try tweeting at uber about it. Sometimes making it public like that lights a fire under them.

Not that it really helps but do you have the names of all the reps you spoke with? Sometimes I use that info in these situations

Oh yes, I do have name of many of the sales reps I talked  about this issue:

      1) Jhe on October 26

      2) Rollen on Nov 2

      3) Tia on Nov 5

      4) Jhilam on Nov 5

      5) Md Ahmed

I don’t have all the names though.

          😂 😂  that’s the name they gave.

It may not be fake though, because I guess Uber has outsourced their call center to some other countries. Whenever u call to Uber Support, the CSRs sound like foreigner.

I am also dealing with unpaid/missing trips.

On March 2nd I completed 6 trips. In the app, it actually does say SIX completed trips. But only 3 of them were included in specific detail, and only the same three were paid.

This also happened to me about 2 weeks ago. After waiting far beyond the 48 hours they say you must wait for payments to arrive, I texted support. Support said "I cannot help you in my dept..so I am transferring you to specialized dept" at least FIVE TIMES... dont forget this was a CHAT they said they'd be transferring me from.

At least FIVE times they simply ended the chat (ditched me) and no "transfer" ever took place.

Eventually I called them. I was told they weren't able to take care of the problem but that they'd "TRANSFER" me to specialized dept. I was transferred to another person who AGAIN said "wrong dept/transferring you to specialized team" at least FIVE TIMES before finally being transferred…

He fixed the missing trip payment.

But THAT was my experience a couple weeks ago. Not the most recent experience. THIS time, so far, every person I've spoken with wants me to fill out forms online including details (time, restaurant, client name) of the missing trips... how can  I do that when the trips and all their data ARE MISSING?!!??

Furthermore, I am now being lied to as they keep telling me "we cannot process the missing trips and we CANNOT TRANSFER YOU TO THE SPECIALIZED DEPT. . you have to email them" ..

WTF??? They can't transfer me to the specialized dept they transferred me to last time this happened a couple weeks ago?

Supposedly they've emailed the dept "on my behalf" but frankly I don't believe more than about 20% of the crap UBER support feeds me on the phone and even less if its said in chat.

80-90% of everything support says or types is clearly being read from pre-written script anyway. They're usually just in a hurry to pass the buck or simply (abruptly) end chat sessions without providing any sort of resolution.

    Uber fucking SUCKS.

Houston, TX on July 23, 1p-330p I did 5 rides and uber EATS only paid me for 3 rides, but on my app and uber support showed 5 rides, uber never paid me after I filed online and verbally with uber support. Then again on Aug 14, 1130am - 215pm, I delivered 4 uber eats and uber EATS paid me for 3 TRIPS, again 1 trip missing. And I took a trip for 16.97 and drove 40min the uber eats order tip was taken away when they got their food. This has happened several times before on long uber eats deliveries. Uber stock goes up because Uber STEALS AND CHEATS ITS DRIVERS. NEED A LAWYER HELP OR UNION.

I have experienced this now multiple time with Uber,  you complete a trip and it does show up in earnings.  Actually, it shows up in trip counts but not in your payment.

I reported it and got virtually no response.   Later when I go in the check the trip count has been lowered, it no longer includes the missing trip.

I hate to say it but I believe Uber is stealing from drivers.   Beware this company seems corrupt to me!

There is a very simple solution to your problem. The only question is whether you are willing to go through some hassle. To all the drivers that get jerked off by Uber, what you need to do is Sue them in small claims court. The procedures for this are quite simple and I doubt that for these paltry amounts that they won't settle with you

I just had the same issue. A trip from Newark airport to Pennsylvania that was over 100 miles. It's been 1 week and I keep getting the same ole' our technical team is working on this right now story. One rep told me the ride is estimated at about $167. Why don't they have a system in place compensate drivers then in these instances. They can easily calculate my fare, so why not have a system in place to pay drivers as well during glitches. This happened to me on December 19th, it is now December 26th and still nothing. I used extra money I didn't have to cover for gas and tolls. Big fail on Uber's part.

      So sorry to hear that.

It seems, in the name of technical glitch they are escaping from making payments. Uber is aware that drivers don’t have evidences to prove the ride and in most cases (specially during busy time) it’s hard for drivers to remember every riders name with their pickup and drop-off location & time. They are using this knowledge not to pay the drivers.

I am not on Twitter/Facebook, because I hate social media. I urge u guys to post urs issue on Ubers Twitter/Facebook page..

        No, and I gave up😒

Every time getting same reply from the sales rep. Mine earning on that trip was $15-$20, so it wasn’t that hard to let it go. But for you, I can’t imagine..

Hope ur issue gets resolved sooner.

Hope that doesn't happen to me it's been a week almost. And now it just happened to my husband tonight for a lot more money. They gave him some BS that the trip is still processing.

That's some real BS. I am guessing some sort of glitch in their app right at that time? Awful luck. They need to trust you though.
