There are a good many times I need huber or other service BUT I NEED TO CALL WITH A LANDLINE IS THAT SO SO SO SO SO HARD TO PROVIDE .??

You can preschedule a pick up and it will give you a 15 minute window for Lyft, not sure on Uber, probably same.
