  • Some nights I wish I was able to write a ticket or at very least walk up to some of these idiots on the road and smack them upside their head. People who text and drive make me want to get out of my car and beat some sense in them. Left hand lane major highway doing 35mph in a 65mph zone, breaking often because they are texting or taking selfies. Just once would love to take their phone and throw it in a river or ride over it. Old people who cant see so frustrating but dont want to beat them. Shame we cant have senior citizen lanes.:) People in a rush who drive recklessly, weave in & out of traffic at high speeds, pass you on the right from a lane they shouldve been turning from cut you off only to be stuck at the next red light with you. Drunk drivers. Drivers who will not pull into the intersection to make left turn (sits at light until yellow then turns and now you are stuck yet again at same light) so inconsiderate. People who drive in left hand lane doing less than the speed limit. You blink your highbeams and they dont move and yes if its safe & they are going slower than normal traffic they are suppose to get out of the left lane (you want to get technical left lane for passing). People who speed up when they see you put your signal on to get in their lane. Ok yes did go overboard on my pet peeves. Forgot 2 more. People that brake before a green light in case it turns yellow they can stop. Ex mother in law did this all the time caused at least 2 accidents I know of. Sad part was she caused it but her car wasnt damaged. No I am not perfect. I've learned to try and have patience as we all make mistakes. The more time I spend on the road the more frustrat…

The more time I spend on the road the more frustrated I am becoming because these people who are careless cause bad accidents. When you see the FD cutting people out of car wrecks because of inconsiderate, self entitled, careless people its absolutely disgusting that some of these accidents even happened. Speaking of FD or any first responder MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE.  How would you feel if your loved one died because some idiot was either too stupid, too rude, or cluless to move out of the way. All too often warch people sit in a lane dont move out of the way with lights and sirens going. Watched this recently hspoen.  People going up shoulder cause traffic is backed up. Rescue Squafd couldn't get through to help or save injured people right away. Took extra 4 min for them to get them through to injured people. If they are not breathing they may still be able to resuscitate but good chance brain is damaged.  Cops had to get people go move their cars on each others bumpers on a slant to get rescue through. Guy in car next to me was laughing. Yes, real f@#k@#g funny if it was your family or friend who needed help. Ok time to get off soap box I got a ride request. Be carefule, stay safe and please abstain from texting and taking selfies while driving and move out of the way of first responders. Last thought, police can talk on their little thingy that projects their voice so people in cars can hear them. It would be awesome to have that so you could just yell at people. Yo  dumbass in blue ford focus stop texting while driving, speed up idiot or get out of left lane erc...

Breaking in front of a green light. That's a good one. I can kind of understand it if it's yellow already, but green? No way. Green means GO.

Another one: people that inch up behind you and a red light... again and again the whole time it's red. Like I'm gonna go sooner because they got a little closer. Those two inches aren't going to gain you much time buddy. And then the SECOND it turns green, they honk at you. Give me a break...

Agreed. I cant believe I forgot things in my long laundry list of annoying things people do when they drive:) The whole slowing down or braking ss you approach a green light is so stupid. The first time I noticed it I was dating my husband. Was driving with his mom one day and she kept doing it. When we got home I asked him why? I was shocked as I didnt think people did such foolish things (i was young):) Then again you havent met my ex mother in law:) Thought of one more thing thst is mostly but not all the time a female thing. Making a wide right turn pulling slightly (just enough to piss you off) towards the left before they actually turn.

You've made quite a list here. My biggest pet peeves are people driving the speed limit in the left lane (come on...), and not using signal. It's not that hard, the thing is attached to the damn steering wheel! Just gotta flick it!

Yes it is a big list. Lol  Thanks for adding those 2 cant believe I forgot them. Couldn't agree more. . The more time I spend on the road the more I see it the more annoying it gets. I get why people have road rage. Lol  The no turn signal is just lazy, inconsiderate, rude idiots. Last night had 2 idiot females 1 on I 95 doing 35 and braking for no reasons full on texting more than just an "ok" other one on busy highway doing 20 in a 35. Thought it was a little old lady no some young dumbass texting again not a short text. Not that you should be texting at all. Wth do these people not understand? You want to have your car totaled, end up under a tractor trailer decapitated go for it. I personally want to get my riders to there destination safely and my ass home to my family. Just self entitled, rude, inconsiderate behavior. Do they really think that they are driving normally while texting? Do you not feel yourself braking every 20 secs or wonder why everyone is…

Do you not feel yourself braking every 20 secs or wonder why everyone is passing you. I am going to take out the biggest automobile policy with full tort get in front of one of these morons and slam my brakes on. Get a lawyer sue the crap out of them. When their insurance skyrockets maybe they will learn. They are going to seriously hurt someone or kill them over a damn text that can wait or a damn selfie for valadation for whatever their parents didnt provide for their spoiled asses. I've seen both m & f's of all ages doing it but mostly younger people under 25. The ones that talk on the phone dont operate their vehicle much better. Their is this thing called ear pieces, blue tooth, hands free. They need to use them it just may save their life and others. I have an idea I am sure no one thought of yet pull over their are shoulders, strip malls, parking lots everywhere. Unfortunately there are idiots that think its ok to stop in the middle of the road because traffic may not be heavy and text. WTH??? Another inconsiderate ignorant type of person.

      Stats for US

Car crashes are #1 Killer for Teens - It's considered an American Epidemic and  TOTALLY PREVENTABLE

Since there is no way to test for distracted driving it's believed that these types of accidents are extremely under reported.

#1 KILLER OF TEENS 9 people per day die in distracted driving crashes. 58% of teen crashes are distracted driving, 391,000 crashes per yr by distracted drivers, 16 to 19 yr olds 3X more likely to be involved in a fatal accident. 1 out of 4 accidents is because of cell phone use.

They need to learn "a license is a privilege not a right".  Having a drivers license isnt your constitutional right. It's based on skills and the ability to drive safely. You should have to prove you have common sense, consideration for others, and your not a total d@#%he bag.

I dont want my family, friends, and riders to be a statistic because some idiot cant refrain from texting for a few minutes. How do you live with yourself after you kill someone because you were texting a friend about  your plans or taking a selfie? Nobody is perfect, I am far from it, we all make mistakes, and accidents do happen but distracted driving its preventable. Its your choice your decision. One that can ruin your life and end others.

Sorry back on the soapbox again with lengthy post. People who cause aggravation, devastation, inconvenience, pain, suffering, financial loss  and possibly death because of their selfish decisions annoy me to no end.

It's a dominance thing. They don't use the signal because it shows weakness, in their weak minds.

here in New York City I noticed the biggest jerk-offs are the people who drive white cars. I also noticed a lot of newbie app drivers cause a lot of accidents  because you can't look at the GPS and look out the window at the same time

People being "nice", for instance letting me or someone else in when they have the right of way. It is an act of kindness that makes things worse and encourages accidents. Driving should be done by the rules, so everyone knows exactly what to expect and when to expect it. When someone deviates from the rules, suddenly the situation is in uncharted territory and the other drivers around don't know for sure what to expect.

Driving is not the place to show how nice you are (or how mean you are either)... just drive properly.
