How to sign up and order a Careem Car

How to Sign Up for Careem

1. First download the Careem app from the app store.

2. Create your Careem account.

In order to create your account you will need to enter in a mobile phone number, email address, and password. The app will ask you to verify your phone number using a code sent to your cellphone. 

3. You are now ready to request your first ride!

How to Request a Careem Car

Upon opening the Careem app, you will see a map of your immediate area with a pin in your location. TIP: Make sure to turn on location services for the Careem app! If the location is not correct, you can manually enter your location. 

1. First type in your starting location.

2. Choose your level of service.

Careem has several options for levels of service to choose from, ranging from economy to luxury options. 

3. Determine your payment method for the trip.

The app will automatically have cash as the payment method for your trip, unless you have added a payment method before requesting your ride. You can edit your payment method by tapping on "cash". A menu will appear where you can add a payment method such as credit card or previous ride credit. 

4. Request your Careem ride and track in real time.

Once you enter your trip details and click "Yalla!", Careem will connect you to a driver. You can track the drivers location and find out when the car will be arriving.
