  This is all a big witch hunt now.
  Soon, people who gave rides to Covid positive passengers to have a label, “exposed to Covid.” then on and on. I mean, isn’t that what those Google apps are supposed to do in the name tracing the disease?

  That tip is pretty much expected on UberX. No, not everyone does, but drivers get super angry if you don't.

  Well, Lyft is loving this publicity. GOP is in an embarrassing turmoil and are not friendly with the groups that matter, such as the urban population that actually need and take rideshares and technology heavy industries and their population.

  Uber does not care to have the backing from middle of America, gun toting, truck drivers who really don't care to take Ubers around. This helps Uber none, and Lyft has an excuse to rise up and be the anti-Trump hero.

   4 years ago in  With UberEats, do restaurants get mobile apps too? How do they manage incoming orders, and how does it look on their side?

  That second picture is of Chipotle, and that's for regular people who place and pay online on their mobile apps.  I think that's different from UberEats and stuff.

   5 years ago in  Auto Off feature in newer cars when stopped.

  My Ford Escape has it. It is amazing and I love it. 

  The way the car starts isn’t like what you’d expect it to be. It quietly stops and starts. It sounds different. I’d imagine it has different mechanism.

  LOL.  No, there is a market for it!

  ...but you are right, this does feel a bit backwards as taxi services always existed.

  This sort of tells the tale that the word "taxi" as the traditional business model has completely been replaced.
