That's a great idea. I find so many air fresheners that you hang from your rearview mirror lose their scent too fast.
" I want to thank everyone who supported me. And I want to thank the policemen who were professional and nice to me when they pulled me over. I get waves from them now."
Aww...
That is one pretty eventful day for a Cab driver, in a way I wish some of my days were as eventful as this. Though I have no idea how he stayed so calm with the last passengers who were swearing at him and flipping him off!
Maybe I should move to NY....
If this is true, it didn't happen for me! I actually struggled in the beginning getting ride requests, then I started figuring out peoples patterns.
He probably just wants to access Uber's Godview...
I always knew Uber's god view would get them in trouble...
As a driver though, they need more lines of communication for us! It is infuriating trying to get in contact with anyone at Uber
I don't smoke, but my friend does and he also drives for Uber. He always keeps his windows rolled down to try and air out his car. I have been surprised that more people haven't asked him to roll his windows up!
I always have a dash cam on just in case - you never know what might happen even in the best neighborhoods!
This. Exactly. I get so pissed off when this happens! Uber is so cheap already, you really need to try to squeeze extra people into the car to save even more money? AND its so easy to order the XL instead of the X - its not like a taxi cab that you have to flag down so you get what you can take.
WHAT?! I would have thought that I would have died for a fare like this but the driver said she only made about $9 a hour when everything was said and done... not so good.
do I need special insurance or anything to lease/rent my vehicle out when I am not driving for uber? Thinking of letting me friend use my vehicle in my off hours!
and how long until Travis Kalanick is in the same boat?
this is depressing. I love talking to and learning from my riders. People need to get off their phones and interact every now and then!
Uber and Lyft do not take your taxes out, you have to do that yourself. I learned the hard way.
I would have no idea that it was worth 10 mill, now if I found 10 mill in cash that would be a different scenerio...
My friend did this! He says he has save $70 bucks so far in 2 months
This has always bothered me! I would like to know what kind of a fare I am picking up and whether or not I will be driving farther from my home or closer to my home (especially towards the end of the night). I understand that Uber doesn't want drivers to cancel ride riquests based on rider location but I feel they could set more parameters for getting rid of drivers that do this and letting the good drivers at least have the information! I just like to know where I am going to go...
It would also be nice to see how much you will make up front :)
