  NEVER get in your rideshare car if there are multiple people! Drivers are not allowed to bring friends/family along for the ride, so you know if there are multiple people something is suspicious.

   7 years ago in  Uber used secret tool named, ‘Greyball’, to sidestep authorities

  According to the NYTimes article on this, Uber served up a fake version of the app, populated with ghost cars, to evade capture. This is the version that many city officials would see, so they technically could not hail cars. I remember reading complaints from people who would say that they saw many cars on their app but none would be available when they reqested a ride...it all makes sense now, they were greyballed.. lol

   7 years ago in  While Uber continues on with its series of many unfortunate events, Lyft starts seeking to raise more funding.

  So Lyft's valuation would be around 6 billion with this new funding and Uber's is around, what, over 50 billion?! I think they still have a long way to go.

  I driver for Uber X and you definitely need a 4 door vehicle. Maybe this was an Uber eats driver? Or a driver who just put his sticker on the wrong car.. lol
