Life lessons reversed. "Don't get in the car with strangers."
here's a similar one:
I know we all hate Uber but you've gotta admit, that lady was crossing a highway pushing her bicycle in middle of the night. Multiple lanes. In middle of the night. and she didn't even try to avoid the car. Just...walking. I mean, I jaywalk but I do look out for cars.
I mean, doesn't that make you mad? What if that happened to you? some dude walks out in front of your car where you'd never expect a pedestrian.
Maybe the situation was worse what the video showed. Say for example,
I think your privacy doesn't exist in a cab. It's not your private space. It's someone else's car. I think you are supposed to treat it like a public place. Get over it.
It's the same as you go to someone's house.
Requesting a ride during a descent? Isn't that illegal? or at least against FAA regulations or wahtever.
K: "Does that come standard?"
J: "Nah, it came with a black dude but he kept getting pulled over."
Telas has been planning to increase their production capacity to 5000 a week. That's 280,000 potentially automous vehicles (taxi-capable cars) a year.
How many taxi drivers are there in the United States? 200K? And they can only work 33% or at the most 50% of the day where AVs can 100. Get 80,000 taxi-capable vehicles, and the drivers will never be needed again.
It'll take a year to replace them once they arrive.
Then obviously hookers and prostitutes.
Drivers know everything...your darkest after hour secrets.
In bottles.

I get that, but look carefully. There already is a "WALK" field. We are talking about people who don't even WALK being included in this chart. Who are these folks?
The 'no travel' one makes me uneasy. So these are the people who NEVER went anywhere before? ...and now they are going somewhere because of Uber? That doesnt' seem right.
With the volume of rideshare vehicles on the road every day, it's no surprise.

“They can’t earn our trust because the way they broke our trust is by lowering the fares.”
I get this, but with the marketshare war underway, can they afford to raise rates? Lyft will gobble that up and market themselves as the cheaper option.
Wait, wait. Melissa is right. Uber's proposed "principle" does ban all vehicles that are not part of the "automated shared fleets." So human-operated delivery trucks, taxis, private or personally owned vehicles will all be banned. and no you can't drive your own cars either.
"Uber, Lyft, ZipCar and others propose outlawing personally owned self-driving cars in central cities, leaving the entire urban core market for automated road vehicles in the hands of corporate fleet owners"
Yeah, total crap.
95 percent of the taxi market? That's insane. So that's virtually every taxi that's on the road in the entire country. What a huge monopoly. I guess anything goes over there.
Fasten takes only $1 from each ride. There is NO WAY they are making any money. What kind of business model is that?
I can say the same about Juno, right? If they only take 10% instead of 20~26% that Uber takes, and Uber is massively losing money, how does Juno make any money?
Fasten is the challenger in Boston, and I saw on their website admitting that they know all their "drivers have Uber and Lyft installed on their phones." They followed it up by saying, "Drivers. Please do NOT accept Fasten rides while you are on your rides."
Yeah, but what about these? There's no way this is legit. Legal? I have no idea. Not a lawyer.
"berserk ballistic belligerent." nice. yes, we all know those guys. Chads and Todds of the world.
Doesn't the same rule apply when you are sitting next to someone on a flight?
