  I appreciate Uber adding this new "feature", but how is this different than how it is today.  It still charges your credit card, you still type an address.   Oh, the text message?  I guess that's kinda neat.  It saves me 3 seconds.

  Untill these two comapnies figure out the profitability, it's all about market positioning and a game of playing market shares.  The real race begins when the AVs come out, and today's valuation will play into where in relative to the start line you are standing.

  When I first saw this, there was a span of where I used my iPhone and iPad to get ratese, but they were always exactly the same so I stopped caring very quickly.
