Uber commissions capped at 25%, no upfront pricing, exact destination on each trip before accepting a ride, old surge multiplier is back, no AR restrictions etc.

Uber is Making Big Changes in California for Drivers! Is all this due to CA AB5?
I welcome these changes over the past month culminating with commission caps at 25%, showing destination, bringing the old surge …
once you plug your destination in, the front page usually will pop with the cheapest rides, like regular Lyft, UBER x or pool, swipe up on uber amd right on Lyft, you'll find all the other classes.
As you correctly stated, Lyft isn't the nicer company, they just had better PR since Uber is a total disaster.
Uber=Evil Empire
Lyft=Dysfunctional Little Sister
The aithor is a she, the article is garbage, the book is very good.
The author is a she, it's a very goid book,,I recommend it. The article doesn't cover .01% of the book.
I will always be the drivers advocate, I will always respond. I'm appreciative about all that has come my way, I will keep fighting. I'm just trying to get the truth heard.
I sent him my private number, told him I would be happy to speak to him. I doubt they'll call. Read their responses, none of it makes sense. Here's my two cents worth regarding utilization rates and supply demand issues. Why didn't they take this action befire TLC came down with these regulations, they say it's not retalliation, why now then?
You notice in their response they only mention our utilization rates. Lyft's utilization rates and the driver's are vwry different. Then they shouldn't have oversaturated the market they're literally admitting that the utilitazion rates for drivers are low, who told them to put eight cars at every corner it also debunks their argument that the lower the rates the busier the driver will be that would only be the case if there was a limited number of drivers.
The article doesn't come close to the why the book was written.
It's a great book, you'll enjoy it. Most articles in MSM these days are full of fluff, not factual or PR for others.
Do you notice their answers only mention our utilization rates, meaning Lyft's, not the driver utilization rates. Then they shouldn't have oversaturated the market they're literally admitting that the utilitazion rates for drivers are low who told them to put eight cars at every corner it also debunks their argument that the lower the rates the busier the driver will be that would only be the case if there was a limited number of drivers. Therefor, higher utilization rates for the driver and more income.
I have read her book and in fact she was on our podcast with RSG it's a must-read by everybody about how algorithms are running the human race
Did you read those responses does any of that make any sense
TK or DK, both evil and both very rich a-holes.
I also get where you’re coming from. What did these pax do before U/L. Do the same thing. However, there are so many drivers out there who accept every ping that they will not be stranded. As a driver coach, I teach to be selective, quality over quantity has always been my motto. It has proven to be a more successful strategy and more profitable. I set my rules for accepting pings that I think are the most beneficial for me.
You're correct in your assumption
Why don't they give their code writers a 25% salary cut like they did in Los Angeles a gew months ago?
It's not easy to become the Amazon of transportation, what a joke!
https://ride.guru/content/newsroom/will-uber-ever-be-profitable
My bible, no garbage pings.
😆😂😂
We had that crap in Los Angeles for a while, dangle the carrot in front of the driver and make sure they never reach it. Uber Pro is lime running a marathon with the finish line moving away from you constantly. Uber Pro is for subservient ants who accept every ping, exactly the type of driver U/L want
Lyft won't allow drivers to work unless they have 90% AR and have done 100 rides in the last 30 days or of they a rental from them for $250 a week. IC my butt!
Modern day digital slavery!
