  I hate stories like this, so incredibly sad. That Taxi driver was just trying to protect his vehicle and do what was right, I am sure he never thought it would result in his death. I hope his family gets some aid from Uber (though sadly, unlikely).

   5 years ago in  Car Safety Seats. Some careless, irresponsible people should not have children.

  I have a feeling the parents who NEED to see this are the ones who will completely turn a blind eye to this type of post. I am sure they are think they are good parents and are justified in their reasons for not putting their child in a car seat in that one situation. So infuriating, it only takes one situation for a life to change forever.

  I am with you on this one, this irritates me to no end!! Those poor children who are in these situations completely unaware that they are even in danger. We have gone from "do not get in cars with strangers" to "get in cars with strangers and don't wear seatbelts" GRRR

  I have had a similar experience. I also have about a 4.8 rating and I cannot think for the life of me why my rating would not be a 5. I also am very polite, read situations well as to whether the driver would like to chat or not, never bring food in the car, always tip a reasonable amount, etc. I just don't get what I have done! I am also always waiting outside where I should be. I agree with a few posters here that some people are just biased.
