  I feel terrible for these parents and I know they are acting out of grief but it's not Uber's fault that you did not have tabs on your daughter. Perhaps you should have been more aware of her mental health and the fact that she was sneaking out at night.

  You are definitely not off base. I take Ubers when I am traveling with my small child and I would never let them play music like that. Most drivers are actually very courteous on catering to your musical preferences or at least turning the music off. I am surprised your driver responded so rudely to you, you do have the ability to rate the driver as well so I would think she would have been nervous about a bad rating from your end!

  I wish you could have left a bad review of this driver for being unprofessional (I am guessing your daughter left 5 stars) but I am sure if she acts this way with other customers it will come back to bite her.

  If you do the math, Lyft is only giving those drivers (at best) $0.50 per ride that they have given. I would love the figures on how much those drivers have earned for Lyft.

  Ill admit, most times I do not rate my driver after the trip. Uber used to make me rate before I would order a car for my next ride but they no longer do.

  My buddy does this, says he earns about $16 per hour. Sometimes he gets tips, but he said not that often and usually the tips are pretty minimal.

  I don't think there is a way to schedule recurring rides at this time. You would have to pre-schedule every ride for every day individually. I would just order your car when you are ready each day, so much easier.
