I don't drive in SF so I have never run into this but it does not surprise me. Uber's support is the worst. Sounds like SFO is being a bit shady here too though...
First of all, I do not think Pitbulls are dangerous. Second, sure. I have a seat cover for dogs so it doesnt bother me much. Usually people are very appreciative when you take their dog too and youll get a nice tip.
For just smelling like weed, no I wouldn't say anything but I would if they were smoking in my car.
Sadly there isn't much we can do about it. Uber isn't going to change unless it makes them a bigger profit somehow.
Yes, this "code" is so true - "I won't tip you because I am cheap and will never see you again"
I guess people have no moral compass when they can get away with it.
I actually find this happens fairly frequently, riders will promise a tip on the app and then never do. Some will apologize and say "sorry I don't have any cash on me, I'll get you on the app". or I have seen passengers talk loudly between the two like "make sure to tip" or "do you have cash? no? we can tip on the app". But they never do.
He was talking to me about his work travel so seems to be a business account thing...
Just FYI: as a driver I like when I get scheduled rides. It shows me that this ride is important to the passenger and often this results in an on time passenger!
Uber Eats is done at the same time as other Uber rides so it is hard to say what you would make solely as an eats driver. Also, like any other Uber ride, rates vary based on the city and mileage.
Make the passenger cancel the ride and order an UberX - they should know better.
Wow, I feel bad that people sold their land to buy a car thinking Uber driving would be their ticket to making the money.
I wonder what hte stipulations are. I would think these rides would be capped at a certain amount of miles.
It depends, is the customer nice or being a jerk? sometimes when jerks say this I will drive slow just to piss them off
You guys do realize this will KILL your rating.
Never, feel like you have to take a long trip! You are a contractor not an employee!!
Lol, you are so right, that is so weird! Basically this chart is saying there are people out there who never went ANYWHERE and then once rideshares happened decided to venture out? The world is a strange place.
What! That is fascinating, the real reason comes out on why Uber didn't want to allow tips!
LOL
