What? Are you guys serious? It's a nickname for
Food + Uber = FUber. It's any service like UberEats and Postmates.
Examples:
"I really want Taco Bell but they don't deliver"
"Dude just call a Fuber"
Flywheel does work like Uber but they are actually a dispatching system for regular taxis on the road. I think they used to be called Cabulous in California.
Kabbee is also a taxi aggregator in London.
And others are all the same. Drivers sign up for their service, and you can call them through your app.
I do see what you are asking though. If it's easy enough and cheap enough, right? I'd like to think it's already having a positive effect. It's easier than calling a cab and it's cheaper than calling a cab. I am sure your people in the city, or even in the suburbs are gobbling it up.
I haven't see much stats around it though. I wonder if people are so busy speaking to Uber's evilness that no one cares to spend time looking at the positive effects of rideshares.
Oh, man, I am so sorry you had to experience that. That's crazy!!
I think you did exctly the right thing. things. You couldn't say anything about the four in the backseat. That's tough. Uncomfortable, but keep going. The trip was over, but they didn't get out...I mean, what can you do?
There are lots of reasons for traffic congestions. However, does reducing rideshares reduce congestions? Of course.
They quietly got rid of those max limits. You can take it as long as you want. Uber changed their verbiage on their website too. (they removed the reference to limits)
So Kabe is doubling it then with $0.33 per trip.
what was he doing without pants
There is a variation of this. After 5 minutes, the driver can cancel and mark it as "no show", and drive off with arms raised in a V.
From last week's post.
"Stopped the car mid-trip to yell at a pigeon."

Oh, I know this one. This happens when you use a service where some prepay arrangements happen, where funds are taken out of your earnings. Say for example, Uber's old fuel cards, and some of the car rental agreements.
LOL. Why stop there?! Hurricane and hailstorm are my favorites.
Lyft used to do this in the old days. Their ambassador program used to be predatory. I am not sure how it is now.
Uber played dirty too. Have you heard of New York Uber employees calling and cancelling thousands of Lyft requests just to screw them up. This was proven by Lyft and they were taken to court.
I can't comment as I have never seen these reports, but I did read the TheRideshareGuy's recent book on how to drive. It was good and nicely summarized, but it would be basic even for a driver who's been driving for a few months. You learn so much by just driving. On the drive training.
Also, things change so much, with promotions and rules and the market.
Uberkit is a website. I think they sell driver training material, if I am not mistaken.
It's like documentation, textbooks, etc. It's like a hundred bucks. i guess newbie drivers may find it useful. I assume these businesses exist because Uber offers zero training. They are trying to capitalize on that.
what's "unconteted."
Dude, what's wrong with you. Of course they can perform background checks on people they are hiring. and their being independent contractor has nothing to do with it
The fact that they found Uber's been hiring them means that their past background checks never bothered to investigate enough. In fact, it's an indication that they didn't do anything. That's where the problem is
Turn off, blow in the cartridge, reinsert, and try again. Must be in their script.
Wow. I commend your work, and thank you for thinking of those who need the help.
You could just ask the driver to complete the trip.
Maybe we can introduce a "Complete" button the rider's. Oh, wait, then it'd be the same as the Cancel button.
