The last two drivers had no mask on. No barrier either. My app says riders and drivers are all required to be wearing mask. Is this just some stupid guideline that no one listens to or a real enforceable policy?

The drivers love their cars, and they tread it as their home. They don't like wearing masks in their homes.
This made me gross out. So the truth is that they probably don't put on their mask until the rider is about to get in the car. There must be covid vapors and droplets everywhere when I get in the car then.
Maybe an improved guideline is needed where they need to open the window for 20 seconds before arriving at location. or they must have the "outside air" on.
I mean, seriously.
the masks don't work, you brainwashed fools! even 10 airline CEO's are demanding an end to the mask mandates!

Why did you get in the car to begin with ?
I find this strange. Every driver I have encountered has their mask on. Uber even has drivers take a mask selfie before rides. Where are you located? I would report these drivers!
This is becoming a real problem. You know there are people out there who don’t wear masks. Uber drivers represent a good portion of the population and there definitely are those who don’t wear them. They may do it for various reasons such as not believing in it, having some political stance, and whatever else.
My Uber driver was angry about wearing a mask

I feel Uber is doing its part to enforce mask usage. I know they are warning and deactivating drivers who aren't wearing masks, and riders can report drivers fairly easily.

Also check this out. The driver is told to put the mask on before they start their shift, and they have facial recognition to "prove" he or she is wearing a mask.
