NYC TLC is now sitting on the fence with the purposed fare hikes and licence cap . What are you thoughts ?

    Can you explain what you mean by "sitting on the fence"????  And perhaps quote your source for this information would be great.

      They put a cap on issuing  TLC plates except for yellow , green and /or handicapped accessible vehicles.  Where is the fare increase to match the coming minium wage of 15 dollars per hour ?

    I would also like to add that this nonsense of under tipping or not tipping must end with a imposed 15% surcharge that goes directly to the driver. You can lawfully impose a surcharge but not a tip in verbatim.  One voice in unity not just in NYC but where ride apps appear so should the voice of justice.

    I didn’t know they are having second thoughts. What do you mean they’re sitting on the fence?  Did they delay their decision?

    What I remember is that they proposed this dynamic rule on how the fares be calculated that has various factors like number of drivers and rides that are given out and to pay drivers by the hour where the floor is predetermined.

      Well as far I know only the cap was applied .The rest of what you stated is not in effect yet.

        Ah, gotcha. I think as is true with any government entities, they will take forever to implement
