Say I had to run into a boloco and back out, is that ok? Should I give a bigger tip?

HELLS NO.  You expect me to sit in a dirty restaurant parking lot for 15 minutes while getting paid $0.16 a minute?   It's bs.  I would drive off in an instance.

I've had this discussin before.  People have asked me but I have always said no.  Calmy explained to them that it's not worth it for anyone.  They usually understand.  They often worry they won't find another ride.  Well, they shouldn't because I should be around somewhere, right?

I would only do it if I can drive around the parking lot going 60 mph for 15 minutes.

$0.16/minute, but that's $9.60 an hour for sitting and doing nothing.  That ain't bad, right?  Plus tip.  The poster is willing to give you free money.

        It's called opportunity cost.

I may say yes on a slow night, but from my experience, people always ask me to wait whenever it's busy, say dinner time or after bars.  The moment I see surge happening, I am outta there!

If it's gonna take 15 minutes, just complete the ride and start over.  Be considerate of our time.  There are plenty of us around. No need to hold on to us causing us to miss out on other rides.

What have you got to lose?  The flagdrop, the initial fee?  That's only a few bucks. 15 minute waittime would cover that, so you didn't lose out on anything.

$20 up front and if your that hungry you will pay it . It is not up to you of what you think is reasonable especially if your food is not  what I would eat even if I was starving . We get paid to go from A to B anything in between order a chauffeured limo

15 is a long time. Better keep it below 10. I'd do it for 5 dollars. Getting the fare for minutes waiting anyway

One item from the menu, ,of course.  Softshell taco at Taco Bell.  Cheeseburger from McDonalds.  That's just common courtesy.

I joke, but more often than not, when people ask me to stop by, people do ask if they can get me something.  No, I don't think it's because they are uncomfortable.  I think the are genuine.  and we all enjoy having a snack together.

Several times already.  It's in fact more memorable times of my driving job.

Boloco is like Chipotle, right?  In that case, a steak burrito will do.  $8 tip...which I guess is pretty generous.  No tip at the trip needed in that case.

    I would give a dollar a minute, so $15.

yeah, but we do get paid for waiting time...   In Boston we get $0.21/minute, so 15 minutes translates to $3.15.  Yeah, that's pretty tiny.  Give us a $5.00 and I will call it good.

See, it's all about when and if there are other opportunities for bigger rides.  During busy hours, say Friday and Saturday nights, by you keeping us in a Taco Bell parking lot, we are losing good rides out there where we can be making good money.  Think about the surge!!

I normally do like stops that exceed 5 minutes. I would recommend handing over at least a $10 bill before the stop and if you go over the 15 minutes maybe giving a little bit more? We are losing money while stopped.
