Lyft flew under the radar until last year. Uber gets what they deserve, they're evil. Lyft on the other hand is the dysfunctional little sister. Lately, Lyft is getting as much bad press as UBER.

I read a lot of negative stuff about Lyft too. Maybe it is less because they are smaller?
No they are more tight lopped and they have a better PR team.
The tide is changing... seeing more and more negative coverage of Lyft lately.
Because Uber is like 10x bigger and is synonymous with "taxi' now. Uber is the evil empire and always has been.
