Uber has been introducing new features to their application in an attempt to win back users. Uber recently announced that they will now officially allow passengers to request a ride for someone else. Big News at Uber this week – and this time, it’s not all about the resignation of Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. Uber has introduced in-app tipping for their drivers in a select number of U.S. cities.

Over the past 6 months Uber has struggled with their reputation. A series of unfortunate events led to Uber’s current situation now, where they are struggling to bring in new leadership and transform as a company.
